I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to 2010 and making goals for yourself and family. I hope that one will include the temporal preparations of food storage. The first cannery date will be Feb 11th, a Thurs, starting at 10 a.m. The items the cannery offers are available at providentliving.org. In order to go to the cannery the items need to be ordered ahead of time. For Feb. 11th the order needs to be placed to Beckie Morales the stake cannery coordinator by Jan. 3rd at 5:00 p.m. Her email is beckie.morales@gmail.com. No money is due at the time of ordering but when the canning is actually completed on Feb. 11th. Start small and set reasonable goals that you can accomplish throughout the year. Our ward is scheduled for our own day at the cannery in the beginning of March. More info will be available in the coming weeks.
