September Cannery Orders are due by Sunday, August 1.
To place an order:
- Fill out an online order form on the Provident Living website
- Choose File > Save As on your computer, using your name and the date of the session you want to participate it for the title (ie. Anna Mansfield, Sept 2)
- Send an email to Sister Beckie Morales beckie.morales@gmail.com. Attach the saved order form to the email.
The September cannery dates are:
September 2nd (Thursday - 10am - 2pm)
September 11th (Saturday - 2pm - 6pm)
Metal Food Storage Lids
The metal food storage lids are still avalible for purchase. The plastic bottles are not avalible, but can be purchased at most retail stores. HERE is a flier with more information. Contact Beckie Morales beckie.morales@gmail.com to order.
Emergency Water Storage
This is a "last minute" water storage helper, for those who want to use their bathtubs as a container for water if you are preparing for a direct hit of a hurricane. They are to be used only once and are recyclable. Here is their website: http://www.waterbob.com/Welcome.do
These are the plastic "bladders" which can be filled in a bathtub to keep the water potable for up to 3-4 weeks, if necessary. If you just fill a bathtub without this plastic container, the water is only good for washing and flushing the toilet.
