Creating a Profile at Mormon.org

We've each been asked by the missionaries to create a profile at www.mormon.org. It only takes a few minutes. 

If you have an account at www.lds.org (to access the ward directory, for example),

1. Go to www.mormon.org.
2. Click "Create A Profile" up at the very top of the screen (in the center).
3. Click on the orange "Sign In" button. 
4. Enter your lds.org username and password as prompted. If you have forgotten your username or password, there are buttons on this screen where you can request the information to be emailed to you.
5. Fill out the different categories by clicking on the blue Edit buttons on the right side of  the screen. For privacy sake, remember to NOT enter your full name. There are different levels of privacy that you can choose - if you want people viewing your profile to be able to follow you on Twitter or Facebook, you are welcome to choose those options, but if you don't feel comfortable, that is completely fine too.
6. Remember, all of this doesn't need to be completed in one sitting. After each section, there is a SAVE button, so you can save what you've entered and then work on it again later. To finish later, just log in again at www.mormon.org.

If you do not have an account at www.lds.org,

1. Go to www.mormon.org.
2. Click "Create A Profile" up at the very top of the screen (in the center).
3. Click the "Register Here" button.You will need your Membership Record Number to register. You can find it on the back of your temple recommend, ask a ward clerk on Sunday, or send me and email and I will get it for you.
4. Complete the registration process. It's really easy and has LOTS of other benefits, such as access to the ward directory and calendar at www.lds.org.
5. Fill out the different categories by clicking on the blue Edit buttons on the right side of  the screen. For privacy sake, remember to NOT enter your full name.
