Provident Living: Stretching Your Food Budget

Ingredient substitutions: 
Make wheat flour into different types of flour (all-purpose, bread, cake, pastry, self-rising)
Make dry or evaporated milk into other milk (buttermilk, sweetened condensed, skim, whole, half & half, heavy cream).

Homemade ingredients: 
Spices, seasonings, baking ingredients, condiments, household cleaners, dog treats, etc

Recipes using food storage: 
Powdered milk, eggs, dehydrated fruits and veggies 
Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Mediterranean 

Shelf stable recipes:
Soups, curries, enchiladas, pastas, breakfasts 
Casseroles, cakes, stews, treats, desserts
