We have the opportunity again this year to order produce from a local farmer. Andrea Nelson led the order last year. Due to an upcoming move she is unable to coordinate orders so I've agreed to coordinate the order for this year. I have ordered produce from this farmer the past few years and it has been very good. Feel free to share this information with others who may be interested.
Note the attached order form to see what is available/price. New this year are Cherry tomatoes.
Our order is scheduled for delivery June 29, 2013 at 8:00 AM. Order deadline is June 22. Attached is the 2013 Order Form if you would like to join us in placing an order. Last year we ordered 167 cases/ watermelons and hope many will be able to join us again this year.
Produce is picked a day or two before delivery so it is very fresh. If a case is too much for you we suggest individuals join together and share a case. We ask that one individual order the produce and pay for the entire case and then split it once you have picked it up.
When placing an order we suggest the following:Complete the order form (attached) and return it to us by email. The subject of your email should be 2013 Produce Order so we can quickly locate all produce orders. Make sure to complete all information at the top of the sheet. Phone number(s) and email are required so we can reach you regarding your order/delivery.
Fill in the Number ordered (column G) on the items you are ordering. Leave all other line items blank. The form will calculate your cost. Your completed order form will be used to place your order and a copy will be given to you at the time of payment. Please do not modify the order form or add lines to it.
To ensure your order has been received, we will respond by email within 48 hours so you know we have your order. If you do not hear from us after 48 hours please send us a quick email to make sure your order was received.
Payment is due on the morning the produce is delivered. Once you place an order you will be responsible for payment and pick up. Payment may be made by check or exact cash. I will be making out one check for the entire order. Please do not fill in the amount on your check until you arrive for pickup on June 29th.
Confirmed Delivery time for June 29th and instructions for pick up will be sent by email a few days prior to June 29th. Delivery will be at the Katy Stake Center parking lot. We will need everyone’s help to unload the truck upon arrival. All produce must be accounted and paid for before we can begin individual pick up.
Any changes /cancellation of your order must be made no later than June 22.
