This months activity was a lot of fun and really helpful.
We took the nursery rhyme:
"This little piggy went to the market
This little piggy stayed home
This little piggy had roast beef
This little piggy had none
And this little piggy went wee wee wee all the way home"
and had a little class for each line.
For the first line "this little piggy went to the market" Colette spoke to us about couponing and how to get the best deals which is very helpful when trying to safe money.
Then for the line, "this little piggy stayed home" we had a professional organizer speak to us about where to start with organizing our houses and lives. She said to start we need to pick up the closest thing to us! Just start!
Then for the line "this little piggy had roast beef" Emily spoke to us about little life hacks in the kitchen to make cooking dinner easier! She gave lots of really good tips such as cutting up a bunch of onions and freezing them! Great idea!
Then for the line, "this little piggy had none" Dary spoke to us about emergency preparedness and how to keep all of our important documents, financial information, and passwords organized in case of an emergency.
We didn't have a speaker for the last line, "this little piggy went wee wee wee all way home" and we changed it to.. have this cupcake so you DON'T go wee wee wee all the way home!
we also had lots of other pig related foods such as pigs in a blanket, bacon dip, and salads with bacon in them. it was a great night! and thank you to everyone who came and participated!
